The Community You Will Join: The Experiences and Services Community Team is growing and we want you to be part of it! The team is part of the wider Airbnb Community Team that supports our global community of Homes, Experiences and Services hosts - one of Airbnb’s most precious assets. The Difference You Will Make: We are looking for a Community Engagement Manager to build our Services Host Community strategy globally. You will implement and iterate on Community programs that engage Hosts at scale, such as Host events and Host Clubs, while also innovating and testing new methods that can influence and strengthen the global community strategy.In this role, the Community engagement manager is responsible for balancing the needs of our Hosting Community with those of Airbnb. You will work closely with and report to the Community Engagement Lead for Experiences and Services, and build collaborative relationships with the relevant cross functional partners as well as the central Community team to support our Services hosts globally.The ideal candidate has extensive Community experience, passion and knowledge, especially in developing complex Community strategies, leading community events as well as building and maintaining programs that connect and engage at scale. A Typical Day: Drive partnership between Supply, Revenue Operations and Community on host education, host communications, and host engagement, including streamlining content across teams, managing a centralized host outreach calendar, and leveraging consistent tools to engage and educate hosts. Define and manage the end-to-end strategy and operations on host communications and feedback to Community Engagement Managers, Host Advisors, and Community Leaders across all Airbnb announcements, with clear learnings. Synthesize local level business learnings and insights across Community to empower CEM’s to inform local business strategies and pilots. Develop and maintain operating rhythms for the Community Engagement team to ensure collaboration and information cascades across the team to work faster with high quality output. Partner with Revenue Operations to develop and manage program training, resources, and measurement. Proactively lead special projects to deliver on impact by effectively scoping work, ensuring stakeholder alignment and financial viability, sequencing large-scale initiatives, removing obstacles, formulating viable solutions, and producing high-quality deliverables. Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence, inclusion, and collaboration. Your Expertise: Leader with 10+ years of experience in Consulting, Strategy, Marketing, Operations, Enablement, Community or Program Management Proven track record of designing and scaling recognition, loyalty, or rewards systems that drive engagement, behavior change, and measurable business results. Strategic thinker able to zoom out to design holistic frameworks and zoom in to ensure every detail is thoughtfully executed. Strong data and analytics acumen, including financial literacy, with experience using insights to optimize programs and demonstrate impact. Exceptional communicator, skilled at engaging diverse audiences including executive leadership and external partners. Adept at navigating ambiguity, influencing key partners, and aligning teams around clear priorities. Demonstrated success managing operationally complex programs in a global, matrixed environment. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits. Pay Range $154,000—$192,000 USD
