Description

Home Instead is looking for a Community Engagement Officer to join our Wollongong office to get out in front of community members to spread the Home Instead name.
This is a role where you would use your networking and interpersonal skills to engage with medical professionals, referral partners and members of the public to build and maintain relationships to make sure that Home Instead’s name is front of mind when considering home care providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to attract or meet new referral partners while building strong, lasting relationships with our current partners
  • Conducting one on one meetings or small group presentations to educate referral partners and community members about Home Instead
  • Organise or attend networking events, ensuring that Home Instead’s name is front of mind in the Wollongong community
  • Develop an annual networking plan to drive business development
  • Managing our social media presence and leading our Brand Team

About you:

  • Experience in sales, networking, or business development
  • Experience in the Aged Care Industry is essential
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trusting relationships
