Recreational Respite is a National Corporation that is active across all of Canada, with the exception of Quebec and the Northern Territories. We are rewarding, engaging, and inclusive, our goal is to provide one to one in person support that embodies the whole picture of someone and the barriers they face. We work as a team to ensure we have obtainable short term and long term goals in the areas of social, emotional, intellectual, physical and spiritual well-being. Our hopes are, with consistent support and tracking of progress, that we can help individuals reach new highs in their life, gain independence and support healthy relationships with families and/or professionals.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Current Standard and/or Emergency First Aid and CPR certification
Vulnerable Sector check within the last 6 months
Reliable means of transportation is a must
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 3 – 15 per week

Must be able to identify needs, abilities, strengths and interests and adapt programming on an individual basis with a strong additional focus on family and caregiver support.
Ongoing evaluation of progress and identifying key aspects of plan.
Must have proven programming techniques to improve the physical, cognitive, emotional and social health, promoting connectivity and participation.
