Job Summary: Reporting to the Content Marketing Manager, the Community Engagement Specialist will build and nurture the iGUIDE community—both online and in real life. This role focuses on creating meaningful connections, fostering engagement and driving a sense of belonging among our users. You will represent the brand across social platforms, forums and events, creating authentic written and video content that resonates with our audience. The ideal candidate is a former real estate photographer with extensive photography experience, understands our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and is passionate about connecting people. You will manage iGUIDE social pages, including the iGUIDE Forum, and lead initiatives that grow brand awareness, goodwill and referrals. RRE is the primary focus with transferable skills applied to AEC and IRC. Job Duties: Develop and execute strategies to grow and engage the iGUIDE community across social channels and the iGUIDE Forum Create original written and video content and manage a content calendar in collaboration with the marketing team Represent the brand authentically in all communications and interactions, driving engagement and a sense of belonging Own and manage iGUIDE social pages, ensuring consistent voice, tone and messaging aligned with brand guidelines Engage across all major platforms, including Reddit, to foster community interaction and discussion Organize and participate in community events (virtual and in-person) to strengthen relationships and loyalty Establish a community feedback loop to inform marketing strategies and product improvements Qualifications: Extensive photography experience; prior real estate photography experience strongly preferred Deep understanding of our ICP and the real estate ecosystem with transferable skills for AEC and IRC markets Previous experience building and managing online communities is a strong asset Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; comfortable on camera for video content Proven ability to manage social media platforms and online communities, including Reddit Ability to create original content and manage a content calendar in collaboration with marketing Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or equivalent relevant experience Location Waterloo, Ontario (Hybrid) Department Marketing Employment Type Full-Time Minimum Experience Experienced
