COMMUNITY ENRICHMENT YOUTH SUPERVISOR

Reports to: Assistant Superintendent for Finance and Operations
Schedule: 40 hours per week/52 weeks, Supervisor
Pay grade: Starting at Grade 5, Step 1, $65,119 per year
Job Summary: Develop and coordinate community after school and summer classes and events for youth.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of two years of experience in event planning, community programming, youth sports and enrichment or related experience
• Demonstrated proficiency with computers required. Working knowledge of Windows based programs and Google (word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software), required
• Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and establish positive relationships with colleagues, school staff, and the kids and families of FHPS
• Demonstrated ability to be highly organized and work well under pressure
• Ability to work a flexible schedule when necessary

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, jump, crouch, or crawl, talk, hear (in a quiet or noisy environment). The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust/focus.
