(FOR MYANMAR NATIONAL ONLY) ROLE PROFILE TITLE: Community Facilitator– Health, Nutrition& WASH TEAM/PROGRAMME: Health, Nutrition& WASH/Program Implementation LOCATION: Pauktaw area, Rakhine State Number of Position: 1 GRADE: NAT 6 CONTRACT LENGTH: Fixed Term CHILD SAFEGUARDING: the post holder will have contact with children and/or young people either frequently (e.g. once a week or more) or intensively (e.g. four days in one month or more or overnight) because they work country programs; or are visiting country programs; or because they are responsible for implementing the vetting process staff. ROLE PURPOSE: The purpose to reduce health risk factors among vulnerable population in targeted communities of Rakhine State through Health, Nutrition& WASH sectors, Basic Primary Health Care, Maternal, Infant and Young Child Feeding and WASH activities accessed with Gender Responsive implement in conflict effected IDP camp in close collaboration with community volunteers and key stakeholders. SCOPE OF ROLE: Reports to: Project Officers Staff reporting to this post: N/A Budget Responsibilities: No financial approval Role Dimensions: No regular contact Travel: Regular (frequently travel to assigned areas at least 3 days in a week) KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY : • Overall responsibility for day-day management of BPHC& MIYCN life-saving activities through close coordination with Project Officers and community volunteers. • Provide supportive supervision to home visit and one to one HE/counselling by community volunteers and family MUAC activities. • Monitoring on MUAC screening and identification of malnourished PLWs and U5 children to receive appropriate treatment from integrated nutrition service centres. • Conduct Mother to Mother Support groups, Father groups and Caregiver group sessions for IYCF key practices of SBCC. • Make sure early case detection and refer of U5 sick children to nearest health facilitates to receive appropriate treatment. • Ensure to support for Emergency PW, PNW and NB referral process dealing with implementing partners. • Support on Nutrition Promotion activities, malnourish screening, Immunization, Vit A & Deworming campaign and Micronutrient powder distribution in communities of program areas. • Ensure appropriate community involvement and delivering of essential WASH services and facilities and promote safe hygiene practices. • Assist to line manager in coordination and cooperation with local authorities and key stakeholders • Sharing of problems solving ways and lessons studies to colleagues. • Data collection from community volunteers and records keeping • Ensure the documentation of project activities and submit to line manager systematically • Submit monthly output report to line manager timely and precisely manner. • Any other duties and tasks assigned by line manager. Responsibilities
