Key responsibilities will include: Support the safe, compliant and effective management of Council facilities and reserves Coordinate contractor activity and monitor performance Assist with property improvement projects and asset management planning Audit, update and maintain leases, licences to occupy and encroachment agreements Manage enquiries from lessees and support maintenance coordination Help maintain accurate property registers, documentation and systems Support reserve management, parks, playgrounds and senior housing welfare Contribute to Annual Plan and Long-Term Plan processes Who Are You? | Ko wai koe? We are looking for someone with: Essential: 3–5 years’ experience in office administration or project coordination Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively Excellent written, verbal and listening communication A customer‑focused approach and strong problem‑solving ability High emotional intelligence, professionalism and resilience Ability to work well in a fast‑paced team environment Full NZ driver licence and the right to live and work in New Zealand Desirable: Experience in property or facility management Knowledge of local government processes and legislation Experience working with tenants If you're ready to make a significant impact and work in a supportive, forward-thinking environment, we’d love to hear from you!
