WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR…

We are looking for a highly motivated person who has proven management experience. They should have proven experience of working in a technical, specialist customer focussed role and of managing and supporting staff to provide a high quality service in a fast paced working environment.
The successful applicant will manage and continuously develop the operational delivery of a robust, consistent and professional service countywide against an ever-changing backdrop of national legislation, statutory guidance and local policy.
An understanding of ASC (Adult Social Care) services is preferred. Candidates with demonstrable, relevant experience, with a proven track record of delivering a high quality service in a challenging area who meet the job profile are welcomed.
The successful applicant will have proven management experience across a service, ensuring a safe, legal and consistent approach across all districts amongst staff.
You will need to have experience of working in a customer focussed environment, demonstrating patience and understanding, and be able to deal with clients or their representatives in a sensitive manner, whilst ensuring Information Governance legislation is followed at all times. You will also be accustomed to working with an array of stakeholders, as this role plays a key part in Adult Social Care, Commissioning and Finance Directorates as well as wider Council services, while also developing relationships with external parties.
You will have project management experience and have demonstrable ability to implement business change and process improvements successfully. You will need to possess good problem solving and decision-making skills.
You will be motivated and a critical thinker with the ability to understand the needs of your customers. You will have excellent communication skills and be a team player. The ability to work harmoniously with others to achieve your personal goals, the goals of the team and that of the service will be key.
The successful candidate will need to show that they can manage effectively and have a good working knowledge of Council policies and procedures.
