The Knowledge, Online Support, and Communities team is dedicated to making self-service effortless for Okta and Auth0 customers. We achieve this by enhancing the online experience, ensuring users can easily understand and utilize Okta’s products, navigate technical challenges, and build connections within our vibrant community.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Design and drive strategy for a successful online community incentive program
  • Responsible for identifying success metrics and translating program performance to peers and stakeholders
  • Discover and capitalize on opportunities throughout the community support journey to engage users and encourage their participation in gamification
  • Partner with various business groups, like support and marketing, to expand awareness and increase the adoption of our initiatives
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the gamification program, using performance metrics to inform and guide future enhancements
  • Introduce an online and offline incentive program that rewards participants based on their achievements in the community
  • Establish tiers to reward users based on their contributions
  • Work with internal partners design badges aligned with our values and community objectives
  • Educate and promote the program internally and externally to grow participation and repeat visitors
  • Create badge missions based on key community objectives
  • Establish success metrics across participation, return visitors, and contributors
  • Design new and limited time only badges based on participation and other trends

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE & WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience managing an online member incentive program with proven results in growth and engagement
  • Experience designing and implementing gamification strategies for online platforms
  • A passion for building a program that promotes connectivity and engagement among members, and comprehends what will ignite and motivate online participation
  • Familiarity and experience with the Salesforce gamification component
  • Leader who can identify tactics and initiate partnerships to achieve desired outcomes
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; you’re a pro at crafting clear, engaging, and persuasive content
  • A solid grasp of gamification principles, user psychology, and motivational design
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions that drive results
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • A genuine passion for cultivating active and thriving online communities
