Employment Type -  Temporary Part Time Hours per fortnight - 64  Job Category - Nursing - Registered Nurse (Div 1) Req Id - 7651    Join our innovative team to provide world class health care to our community  Ongoing training and professional development in a supported work environment  An exciting opportunity exists to experience Communiy Health Nursing as part of the specialist year program Enjoy work life balance in our stunning region just minutes away from the Bellarine Peninsula and the Great Ocean road Temporary part-time opportunity, 64hrs/fortnight (until 2/5/2027)    About the role To be part of the community based, multidisciplinary area health team to support consumers and carers to achieve an optimum level of health independence through: Provision of client focused holistic nursing care to those assigned to her/him in order to achieve desired clinical outcomes Comprehensive, coordinated and integrated multidisciplinary services Contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality, cost-effective community based Community Health Nursing services Contribute to meeting the program and area health team key performances indicators (KPI’s) To work in streams of care or key work role to ensure clients are engaged in their health care and improving their health literacy Liaise with health professionals to ensure that referrals to services are appropriate and provide good health outcomes for clients   Key responsibilities  Provide leadership and contribute to service development, including participating in committees, implementing policies, and demonstrating professional collaboration and Barwon Health values. Deliver high-quality, evidence-based patient care across specialised areas, managing a clinical caseload, evaluating outcomes, and ensuring accurate documentation. Support collaborative practice and professional development, including mentoring junior staff, students, and engaging in multidisciplinary teamwork. Maintain professional, ethical, and legal standards, ensuring compliance with Nursing and Midwifery Board requirements, CPD, and culturally safe, inclusive practice.   What we’re looking for  Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and demonstrated participation in relevant professional development. Proven independent clinical practice with established knowledge, skills, and experience in the relevant area. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including teamwork, conflict resolution, influencing, and collaboration with colleagues and other health providers.
