JOB OVERVIEW

The Calgary Community Information Exchange (CIE) is seeking a dedicated and collaborative Community Lead to support the successful onboarding and integration of partner agencies into the CIE network. The CIE is a collaborative system designed to enhance care coordination across health, social, and community services through secure information sharing and shared client journey insights.
As the Community Lead, you will play a pivotal role in supporting new systems and agencies through the discovery, design, and implementation phases of CIE integration. This role requires a strong understanding of journey mapping, workflow mapping, and partnership engagement to ensure that the needs of partner agencies are clearly understood and integrated into the broader CIE framework.
This position blends elements of community engagement, business analysis, and change management to foster a seamless, person-centered approach to service delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

  • Post-secondary education in Social Work, Community Development, Public Health, Business Analysis, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a coordination or leadership role involving cross-sector collaboration.
  • Demonstrated experience with journey mapping and workflow mapping tools and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with the human services ecosystem in Calgary and a strong understanding of inter-agency collaboration models.
  • Experience in business analysis or process improvement, especially in human or social services settings.
  • Strong facilitation, relationship-building, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of data privacy, ethical data sharing, and digital information systems is considered an asset.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic and evolving environment with multiple stakeholders and priorities.

Responsibilities

PRIMARY DUTIES

This is not an exhaustive list of duties, but meant to give you a sense of what you’ll be doing on a regular basis. Other related duties may be required.

  • Lead the onboarding process for new CIE partner agencies, including discovery sessions, technical scoping, and change readiness assessments.
  • Facilitate collaborative workshops with partner agencies to understand current-state service delivery models and co-design future-state workflows.
  • Conduct and document journey mapping and workflow mapping exercises to capture service interactions from both participant and staff perspectives.
  • Documentation and reporting.
  • Translate partner needs and system requirements into actionable insights for the CIE technical and program teams.
  • Act as a liaison between agencies and internal CIE interest holders to ensure alignment, transparency, and accountability throughout the integration process.
  • Provide training and capacity-building support to agency staff regarding CIE tools, shared practices, and data governance protocols.
  • Monitor integration milestones and gather feedback to continuously improve onboarding strategies and engagement practices.
  • Support the development of resources and documentation to assist future agency onboarding and scaling efforts.
