Description Careage is looking for an energetic, marketing & sales savvy professional to promote their brands throughout the Seattle Area. This position requires daily travel. Mileage reimbursement is available. Position Overview The Community Liaison is responsible for promoting sales and creating a positive identity for our healthcare business within the community through promotional material and personal visits. In addition, ensure that all referrals are received accurately, and detailedly. The individual will report to the Executive Director and work in coordination with the Clinical Supervisors and Intake/Scheduling Coordinator. Collaborates closely with the Careage Marketing Team and Executive Director. Summary of Responsibilities Sell, promote, and create a need for all business units in the Careage family of companies, including Assisted Living, Home Health, and Skilled Inpatient Rehabilitation in the community, including medical and non-medical agencies and associations. Be totally knowledgeable in the Careage family of company service lines, service fees, and client base. Propose services and coordinate contractual agreements with clients. Communicate information on a competitive strategy that affects sales to facility office staff. Maintain an up-to-date competitive file, charge, and pay rates. Build sales within an assigned area according to goals. Pre-plan weekly sales activities. Maintain written documentation relating to all sales activity. Participate in developing annual sales goals. Coordinate sales activity with all office staff to ensure appropriate follow-up. Maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness in daily activities. Provide Executive Directors with ideas and data that outline new service opportunities and sales potential. Protect all company records and property. Participate in educational opportunities in health care. Create and develop promotional material as needed, in coordination with Careage Marketing Strategist. Represent Careage at community functions and professional organizations. Receive all referrals and inquiries of the programs of this agency. Provide pertinent documentation to the Clinical Supervisors in each business unit. Reports pertinent client and employee information at the office staff meetings. Responds promptly and courteously to all clients’ calls. Communicates continually with employees and clients to evaluate service. Performs other duties approved by the VP of Business Intelligence and Home Health. Requirements A college graduate with two years of experience in sales and marketing. Must have a valid driver’s license in the state where the agency is in business. Must be creative, self-motivated, and have a pleasant and helpful disposition. Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills, and problem-solving skills, and apply good judgment based on the principles of sound management.
