SUMMARY:

Contract Length: 36 weeks (from 21 July 2025 to 31 March 2026)
Part-time Hours: 8 hours per week
Hourly Rate: £13 per hour
Total Contract Value: £3,744 for the full contract period
Equivalent Annual Salary: £25,350 per year (Whole Time Equivalent, based on 37.5 hours/week)
Employment Status: Freelance contractor (responsible for own taxes and National Insurance contributions)
Location: Manchester (Cheetham Hill, Crumpsall, Longsight, Levenshulme, Rusholme, Whalley Range, Old Trafford)
Work Mode: Combination of remote work (telephone/online sessions) and in-person activities (community events, face-to-face sessions) within Greater Manchester, especially South Asian communities
Travel: Some travel within Greater Manchester may be required

Responsibilities
  1. Act as a friendly, trusted source of information about WW RMG, ensuring accessible routes for people who would benefit from the service.
  2. Promote WW RMG services and ensure sufficient referrals by building strong, trusted relationships with local residents, communities, and providers across Manchester, meeting service referral targets.
  3. Proactively undertake community development to encourage self-referrals into WW RMG through engagement with local communities, employers, and statutory sector partners, including GPs.
  4. Forge strong links with local voluntary, community, faith, and statutory organisations (e.g., mosques, VCFSE groups) to promote WW RMG and generate referrals.
  5. Attend community events and be present in venues to advise on WW RMG services and encourage referrals.
  6. Work as part of the WW RMG team to raise awareness of early access and free support for community members struggling in work due to health or life events (e.g., relationship difficulties, financial challenges), targeting both community members and referral agencies like GP practices.
  7. Refer clients directly into WW RMG using the agreed service methodology.
  8. Ensure referral numbers meet service requirements.
  9. Collaborate with the MDT to share insights, activity, and progress, providing feedback on community needs and how WW RMG can support them.
  10. Use a combination of telephone, face-to-face, and virtual sessions as part of daily tasks.
  11. Apply a person-centred, strengths-based approach to support individuals in understanding how WW RMG can enhance their health and wellbeing.
  12. Assess, monitor, and manage risks associated with the role, including safeguarding incidents, in collaboration with Alchemy Arts’ leadership team.
  13. Maintain records in accordance with Alchemy Arts’ standards and policies on quality and information security, ensuring compliance with UK GDPR.
  14. Gather feedback from stakeholders to identify improvements for the programme and CLW role.
