Our team of 400+ dedicated staff members share the desire to do meaningful work and make a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities in Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, Rhode Island, and Oklahoma.  **$500 sign on bonus ($250 at the completion of first week of training and $250 after successful completion of first 90 days)** Position: Community Living Specialist 1 - Part Time (Hiring Multiple Part Time Staff to Cover Positions) Location:  Manchester/East Hartford, CT Rate of Pay: $23.84 per hour Schedule: 10-12 Hours per week; Flexible Mornings, afternoons, and weekends Summary:  * The Community Living Specialist 1 assists individuals with disabilities in daily living skills to achieve greater independence and self-fulfillment. The Community Living Specialist 1 implements the organization’s mission and values by supporting individuals to make positive changes in their lives. Individuals with direct care, residential care, day program, and human services experience strongly encouraged to apply!   Qualifications: * At least 4 years of experience with working with adults with disabilities, living on their own in the community required. * Familiar with CT DDS programs offering in home support/indvidaul day non vocational support * Ability to transport members to do community activities needed to sustain an independent lifestyle.  * Ability to use technology. * Ability to work with a team, to provide the best support for the members in the home.  * High School/GED  * Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record and a reliable vehicle.  * Must be DDS Med Cert * Must be willing to transport individuals in your own vehicle.  “Viability values our employees and the talents that they bring with them every day.
