POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Community Manager will lead efforts to build, engage, and maintain strong relationships with the company’s customer base including dealers, small business owners, and independent buyers. This role includes digital engagement (social media, email, CRM) as well as occasional in-person events and grassroots outreach.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with a passion for storytelling, community building, and customer loyalty. You will be the voice of the company — online and offline — and help shape how the brand connects with its most valuable audience.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Technical Skills:
  • Experience using platforms like HubSpot, Hootsuite, Canva, and Meta.
  • Strong writing and visual communication skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and best practices for online engagement.
  • Background in e-commerce, B2B, or logistics is a plus.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years in community management, social media, or customer engagement roles.
  • Proven success in growing digital communities and building customer loyalty.
  • Experience working with diverse audiences across the United States.
  • Willingness to support occasional in-person initiatives and events.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Outgoing and proactive personality.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
  • High attention to detail and follow through.
  • Comfortable working independently while staying aligned with team goals.
  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
Responsibilities
  • Community Engagement:
  • Respond promptly to messages, comments, and emails from customers.
  • Build authentic relationships with top buyers, active leads, and loyal customers.
  • Coordinate with partners and ambassadors to promote collaboration and community content.
  • Launch and manage referral and loyalty programs.
  • Content and Communication:
  • Write and schedule consistent, on-brand content across social media and email.
  • Share updates on products, promotions, and behind-the-scenes moments.
  • Feature user-generated content, customer stories, and testimonials.
  • Maintain a consistent and engaging brand voice.
  • Local Brand Presence:
  • Help coordinate and attend local events, open houses, or community gatherings.
  • Capture content during warehouse visits, customer pickups, and field activity.
  • Increase visibility and reputation in the Charlotte area while supporting national efforts.
  • Reporting and Collaboration:
  • Track community KPIs including engagement, growth, and campaign results.
  • Use tools such as HubSpot or Meta Business Suite for scheduling and analytics.
  • Work closely with Sales and Operations to align messaging with inventory and seasonal promotions.
