You will be expected to:

  • Apply your professional knowledge to assess mental health needs and deliver psychosocial interventions using approaches such as motivational interviewing and solution-focused therapy.

  • Use reflective practice and supervision to support your ongoing professional development.
Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive assessments and evidence-based interventions for a caseload of service users experiencing a wide range of mental health difficulties.

  • Work collaboratively with a wide range of partners including GPs, social care, voluntary organisations and other mental health services.
  • Contribute to the clinical leadership of the team, offering supervision and guidance to junior staff as agreed with the Team Manager.
  • Identify and respond to safeguarding concerns and manage clinical risk in line with Trust protocols.
  • Create and communicate personalised recovery and risk management plans.
  • Participate in team meetings, service development initiatives, and clinical governance activities.
