Pearl Home Care Greater Parramatta is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse who is passionate about working in Community/Aged care. This is an interesting and varied position that would suit someone with experience as a Community Nurse.
It would be beneficial to have some experience in Aged Care, community experience, knowledge of government funded packages and consumer directed care.
We are offering casual roles with a view to permanent part-time for suitable candidates.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing OR relevant certificate.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Nurse in the Community.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in a Care Management role in the aged care or disability services sector.
• Understanding of relevant legislation, policies and guidelines governing the provision of home care services, such as the Aged Care Quality Standards, Home Care Common Standards and the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
• Demonstrated advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office 365 and various other software applications.

PROBITY REQUIREMENTS:

• A National Criminal Clearance Check less than 6 months old prior to engagement: and subsequent criminal records checks at least once every two years.
• AHPRA Registration.
• Working with Children Check.
• NDIS Screening check.
• The Right to Work in Australia.
• Covid vaccination regulations are subject to variation according to state protocols.
• Driver’s licence and Own Vehicle

  Pay: $45.00 – $68.56 per hour
