Description

North Kerrier Community Nursing Team are looking to recruit an Administrator to help with day to day running of a busy Community Nursing Team.
The nursing team is friendly and proactive covering a wide geographical area to include Portreath, St Day and Illogan. We work with many and varied disciplines within this area which requires organisation and coordination.
The successful applicant will need to be a resilient problem solver able to work alongside other administrative and clinical colleagues.
The post holder will work within the Community Nursing Team and be responsible for general administration duties and use of Cornwall Partnership Foundation Trust (CFT) IT systems for work rosters, equipment requisitioning and stock control as well as some front of house duties including telephone calls with patients, relatives and clinical staff.
A friendly manner and a good sense of humour with a professional approach is essential.

KEY DIMENSIONS OF THE POST ARE:

  • To provide administrative functions within a Community Nursing team. Assist with Strata referral system. This will require covering the service over 7 days with some unsocial hours on a rota system- to include regular Saturday and Sunday working on a rota system .

Responsibilities
  • To support the Community Nursing Team/Community Matron Team and other clinical teams with all aspects of administrative duties. To act as the first point of contact for communications between patients, visitors and health professionals (both internal / external).
