POSITION OVERVIEW:
The University of Maryland, Baltimore County is seeking a Community Outreach Worker for the Reach Together Tutoring Program (RTTP), housed in the UMBC Math Project in the George and Betsy Sherman Center. Aligned with the overarching missions of the UMBC Math Initiative and the Sherman Center, and reporting to the Associate Director of the UMBC Math Project, the incumbent will play a critical role in implementing and sustaining RTTP. RTTP is a comprehensive academic acceleration math program that combines high-dosage tutoring, delivered by UMBC student-tutors, with professional development to help all students access and master rigorous, grade-level concepts.

Community Outreach Workers are responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of tutoring sessions within the Reach Together Tutoring Program (RTTP). This includes overseeing the daily on-site operations, monitoring math coaches, providing training as necessary, organizing and maintaining accurate records, and serving as the liaison between school-based and RTTP staff.
