We ensure that our palliative care is delivered sensitively and with dignity, helping to control pain and keep loved ones as comfortable as possible as they approach the end of their life. We stay with our Clients until the end of their journey through life. Our Care Assistants provide specialist palliative care and support for the whole family, allowing them to focus their attention on their loved ones and each other. Our Palliative Care Assistants provide round-the-clock companionship, personal care, monitoring and help with medication. We will also support family members by offering respite from daily tasks such as light housekeeping, laundry and meal preparation. Requirements of a Palliative Care Assistant: · Be available for the overnight run · Must hold a full and valid UK driving licence and have access to own vehicle · Have a genuine passion to want to help others · Be a reliable team player with a positive attitude If you have experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, Carer, HCA, Health Care Assistant or in the NHS we would love to hear from you. However, if you do not have experience, we provide full training and encourage candidates from all sectors to apply, for example: retail sales assistant, customer service, hairdressers/beauticians, receptionist, administrator, cleaners, warehouse workers and delivery drivers.
