Are you a passionate and driven individual dedicated to educating and promoting public safety? If so, Strathcona County offers an exciting opportunity as a Community Peace Officer, where you can make a meaningful impact in the community you serve!
Community Peace Officers ensure adherence to municipal bylaws, the Traffic Safety Act, and various provincial acts and legislation. They conduct patrols, investigate complaints, and ensure compliance with Strathcona County Bylaws and Provincial Statutes. This role involves administering regulated penalties to individuals or businesses, preparing court documents, and supporting other County departments, the RCMP, external agencies, and residents. Fostering community well-being, engagement, and education are primary areas of focus.
