SUMMARY

As a Community Engagement Specialist at GetFix Ltd, you will play a vital role in fostering relationships with our community stakeholders. This position is essential for enhancing our company’s visibility and engagement within the community, ensuring that our initiatives align with public health and safety standards.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Experience in recruitment, resident liaison, or community engagement in the commercial gas and BMS industry
• Strong interpersonal skills—approachable, empathetic, and professional
• Confident using Microsoft Office, and basic content tools (e.g. Canva or similar)
• Solid organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites
• Background in social housing or construction environments
• Familiarity with social value frameworks (e.g. Social Value Portal, TOMs)
• Experience managing social media accounts for a business
• Excellent written communication and verbal skills
• Excellent planning and organisational skills
• IT and computer literate
• Able to prioritise workload and use initiative at all times
• Professional and friendly demeanor
• Team player, self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
• Flexible outlook within role, able to adapt to changes in tasks where necessary
• A positive can-do attitude with the ability to take ownership and responsibility, with an enterprising work ethic
