We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Community Pharmacist to join our team at Willows Pharma. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that residents in care homes receive the highest quality of pharmaceutical care. This position involves the accurate and timely dispensing of medications, ensuring compliance with pharmacy policies, and providing expert advice on medication management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the provision of pharmacy services on site : Pharmacy First, New medicines services, Hypertension case finding service + Contraception Service.

• The ideal working pattern is 45 hours / week Monday – Friday (9am-6pm)
• 6 months’ probation.
• Gphc fees paid.
• 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
• Salary : £45950 per annum

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accurately dispense medications for care home residents in compliance with prescriptions and legal requirements.
• Review and verify medication orders for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure the safe storage and handling of medications in accordance with regulations.
• Prepare and organize medication administration records (MAR) for care home staff.
• Perform medication reviews to ensure appropriate drug therapy for each resident
