Duties

  • Accurately dispense prescription medications in accordance with doctor’s instructions and pharmacy protocols
  • Provide clear medication instructions and answer patient questions to promote understanding and adherence
  • Assist in managing inventory levels, including stock replenishment and expiry date checks
  • Support medication administration processes, ensuring proper labeling and documentation
  • Collaborate with pharmacists to review prescriptions for accuracy and safety
  • Maintain meticulous records of dispensed medications, patient interactions, and inventory movements
  • Uphold all pharmacy safety standards, confidentiality policies, and legal requirements at all times

Requirements

  • Prior experience as an experienced community pharmacy dispenser setting - Minimum 2 years
  • Knowledge of medication administration procedures and pharmacy software systems
  • Strong commitment to patient care with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Certification or licensing as required by local regulations for pharmacy support staff
  • Demonstrated ability to follow safety protocols and handle sensitive health information responsibly
