We provide vital care and support to our clients in their own homes around Taree, Forster and surrounding areas. This casual role (2 days per week, ideally Monday & Thursdays) makes a real impact on the elderly in our community. What’s on offer Work independently in the community, with support from your team Monday to Friday 9am–5pm roles, with no weekend work Enhance your clinical skills and support a diverse range of clients in their homes Feel appreciated and valued by your clients Be part of a hardworking, caring team who support each other Competitive salary – with up to $18,550 tax-free salary packaging options What we’re looking for To be considered for this role, you will need: Degree or postgraduate qualification in nursing 2+ years post-graduate, with broad experience in general nursing Current Registration with AHPRA, with zero notations Genuine interest in working in the community and with the aged population (experience an advantage) Compassion and enthusiasm, with a friendly approach Strong experience in wound and catheter care, and chronic disease management Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with families and other clinicians Australian driver's licence The role Provide wound, catheter, stoma and bowel care Apply advanced clinical assessment skills for chronic disease management Administer medications and injections Perform an optimum standard of nursing care to our clients Use your exceptional clinical assessment, decision-making and problem-solving skills to deliver high-quality care Everyone at Silverchain, from our care teams to leadership, plays a vital role in delivering Best Care.
