We are currently recruiting for:

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Reporting to a House Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting adults with intellectual disabilities in their day-to-day lives. Areas of support may include community access, recreation and leisure, household management, life skills, personal care, and medication administration. This is a fast-paced environment requiring critical planning, excellent communication skills, and an ability to work collaboratively. QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Grade XII with preference given to studies in Human Services and/or experience in a Human Service field.
  • Effective communication in a professional manner at all levels within the organization and an ability to liaise with key partners including families, professionals, and other agencies.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong organization and record keeping skills.
  • Positive ability to work within a team.
  • Must have values and skills compatible with the type and level of support required.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Scheduling is based on a 4 week rotational schedule including evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts.
