ABOUT THE POSITION:

McMan’s Disability Services Program is seeking to recruit a dedicated CRW 1 to assist a variety of individuals with developmental and physical disabilities, mental health disorders and some complex behaviours to enrich their quality of life in their communities. The successful candidate will have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and various weather conditions, including snow, rain, and heat to support individuals in volunteer work, community access and supported employment. Jobs will include snow shoveling, lawn maintenance, yard work, cleaning, as well as working at different businesses in the community.
The ideal candidate will be a positive representative of the agency in its work settings. They will be charismatic individuals who can readily adapt in a busy, ever-changing environment. This position will work with all SCAN teams as needed and duties will change from week to week. Must be willing to take ETS and DATS with the individuals. Please note the position requires participation in individual work placements at businesses around Edmonton as well as working at the program site and involvement with recreation activities.
