Commitment: Flexible, approx. 3–6 hours per week

ABOUT US

At the National Community Security Project CIC, we believe that safe, connected communities are stronger communities. Our volunteers work together to look out for one another, share important local information, and help build a sense of security and trust in the areas we serve.

THE ROLE

We’re looking for friendly and reliable people to join us as Community Security & Intelligence Volunteers. In this role, you’ll be an extra pair of eyes and ears in your neighbourhood – helping to spot concerns, share updates, and support local safety initiatives. No specialist experience is needed – just a genuine interest in your community and a willingness to get involved.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Chatting with neighbours and listening to community concerns.
• Noticing and reporting anything that could affect local safety.
• Helping us share information and raise awareness about community safety.
• Supporting local events and activities that bring people together.
• Working with other volunteers to keep your area safe and welcoming.
