Description At Eastern Area Agency on Aging, we are dedicated to helping older adults, adults with disabilities, and caregivers live with dignity, independence, and choice. Serving Penobscot, Piscataquis, Hancock, and Washington counties, our work connects people to essential services, supports caregivers, and strengthens communities. We are seeking a collaborative and mission-driven Community Services Manager to lead key programs, support a talented team, and build partnerships that expand access to vital resources across our region. This full-time, 40 hours/week position will provide leadership, direction, and oversight for several core programs, including Access and Supportive Services, Caregiver Services, and Veteran Directed Care. What You'll Do Lead, mentor, and support a dedicated team of staff and volunteers. Oversee day-to-day program operations to ensure high-quality service delivery. Foster strong partnerships with community providers, state agencies, and veterans’ services. Monitor program outcomes, reporting, and compliance with state, federal, and grant requirements. Collaborate with agency leadership to develop policies, improve systems, and advance strategic goals. Represent EAAA in community forums, stakeholder meetings, and regional collaborations. Help expand services to meet the evolving needs of older adults, caregivers, and individuals with disabilities. Requirements A bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Gerontology, or a related field is required. Licensed Social Worker or eligibility preferred. 3–5 years of experience in a health or human services setting required. 2-3 years of supervisory experience required. Must have a valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance. Experience working with older adults, caregivers, or individuals with disabilities preferred. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Proficiency in office technology, including data tracking and reporting.
