Care Network Ireland are currently recruiting a Community Person in Charge or Clinical lead to lead and manage a designated residential or community-based service in line with the Health Act 2007, HIQA regulations, and best practice standards, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care and regulatory compliance in the Carlow area.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Level 6 or higher in Social Care.
• Minimum 2 years’ management experience in health or social care.
• Strong working knowledge of HIQA, safeguarding, and regulatory standards.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Registration with CORU.

• Fulfil statutory role of Person in Charge (PIC) under HIQA regulations.
• Ensure full compliance with HIQA standards, Health Act 2007, Children First, and other relevant legislation.
• Manage day-to-day operations, including care delivery, staffing, risk, and safeguarding.
• Lead and supervise staff, ensuring training, support, and performance management.
• Effective communication and problem-solving.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and person-centred practice.
• Strong leadership and team management.
• Promote residents’ rights, dignity, independence, and active community participation.
• Prepare for and respond to inspections and audits.
• Liaise with external professionals and stakeholders.
