As the People Operations Graduate Associate, you will learn the core proficiencies of community and social responsibility throughout our full season! Creating impactful experiences on and off the court is what we do - and ensuring that everyone has a voice is how we do it. What you’ll be doing: · Assist CSR with planning and execution of Pistons Mentoring programs. · Support ongoing planning, tracking and visibility of the internal volunteer program. · Assist with tracking and distribution of in-kind donations of promotional items for local non-profit organizations and company affiliates. · Coordinate and assist with the operation of Community & Player Ticket Programs. · Assist with fundraising efforts and execution of community programs for the Detroit Pistons Foundation. · Serve as CSR game-night support staff as needed · Support CSR Motor City Cruise initiatives and activations as needed. · Aide members of the department with all other projects, as assigned. · Assist with Human Resources duties as needed · Serve as leader and liaison of the internship class Requirements Bachelor's degree required from a college or university in related field (preferred) Six months to one-year of peer leadership, Community Relations experience; planning events, volunteering, fundraising Ability to be onsite M-F, holidays, weekends, and nights as needed Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite. Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and display critical thinking skills Self-improver, possess a positive attitude and eagerness to learn
Responsibilities
