The service operates Monday to Thursday 0900 to 1700 and Friday 0900 to 1630.
An opportunity has arisen within the Asylum and Refugee Health Team to work as a band 5 Registered Nurse (Adult) supporting and meeting the needs of the population within the service. This is a full time post for 37 hours a week.
The post holder will provide assessment, treatment and education relating to health for the asylum and refugee service as part of homelessness services.
This post requires you to work as part of a Health & Social Care Partnership model and as an autonomous practitioner promote, provide and co-ordinate care in a variety of locations.
The Asylum and Refugee Health Team nursing service operates an open access policy delivering care to individuals and families within homeless and asylum accommodation.
You will be a Registered Nurse (Adult) with significant post registration physical health experience with an interest in complex needs, homelessness and displaced populations; previous experience within this field would be advantageous but not essential.
