Description

We have a great opportunity to join our team as a Community Support Assistant.
The Community Support team provides housing related support to individuals living in supported accommodation. The service assists people to maintain their independence within the community, thus preventing loss of their home or tenancy and/or otherwise unnecessary use of more institutional forms of care by supporting individuals to gain, re-learn or maintain life skills in order to carry out their own day to day tasks, such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, budgeting and paperwork.
We are seeking candidates who have a genuine wish to make people’s lives better by actively supporting our clients in a person-centred way. You should be a strong team player with a positive attitude and a flexible approach.

WHO WE ARE:

We provide high quality care and support to older people; people with physical and learning disabilities; people with mental health needs; dementia; carers and clients’ families. This extends to respite care for families and carers.
We operate services across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole, ranging from Residential Homes, Day Services, Supported Living sites and Reablement Home Care.

WHAT WE OFFER:

  • Competitive Hourly Rate: From £12.90 per hour with opportunities for career and pay progression.
  • Career Progression: We believe in growing talent from within and offer our staff opportunities like NVQ apprenticeships, providing you with a solid foundation for career progression.
  • Occupational Sick Pay: We offer an enhanced occupational sick pay scheme from your very first day with us, ensuring you’re cared for when you need it most.
  • Generous Holiday Allowance: 26 days not including bank holidays.
  • Employee Assistance Programme: We offer a confidential, free of charge, support network. This service offers a 24/7 helpline and vital wellbeing services to support you whilst at work.
  • Company Contributory Pension Scheme: We contribute 3%
  • Morebus Commuter Club: savings on bus travel across Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch
  • Blue Light discount eligibility (superb discounts on travel, leisure, entertainment and more)
Tricuro is owned by Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council and provides short and long term high quality care and support to adults, their carers and families. We have highly trained and skilled staff and offer flexibility, consistency and reliability of service which is focused on meeting the needs of people in our communities.
If you are looking for an exciting and rewarding job opportunity in a care environment, come and work for us. We can offer a career that adds value to the community and makes a difference to the lives of vulnerable people
