We are looking for passionate and caring individuals to make a difference in our clients’ lives by assisting them to live at home independently for as long as possible. You will be travelling around Northern Sydney and Lower North shore suburbs in a varied and rewarding role - no two days will be the same!!

Responsibilities

DAY TO DAY ROLE LOOKS LIKE:

  • Supporting and connecting with our clients assisting with day to day in home tasks - cleaning, tidying, washing and other tasks within the client’s care plan
  • Transport to appointments and shopping
  • Meal preparation
  • Social Support or Respite for family/carers
  • Personal care including assistance with showering and dressing (if qualified/fully trained)

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU’LL NEED:

  • A genuine passion for providing high quality care to the older Australian’s in the community
  • To be comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people
  • Good communication skills
  • A reliable team player
  • To have an understanding of workplace health and safety
  • Certificate 3 or 4 in Individual Support highly regarded (but not essential)
  • An Australian driver’s licence and access to a registered motor vehicle (essential)
