Description

Help people build the life they’re working towards.

At JSW, we believe support isn’t just about showing up — it’s about building real capacity. Our participants are working towards goals that matter to them: employment, independence, community connection, new skills.

We’re looking for support workers who understands the difference between doing things for people and helping people do things for themselves.

Where you’ll work

We have opportunities across Bunbury and Busselton — two of the South West’s most connected communities. We can accommodate part-time or casual arrangements — what matters most is finding the right fit for you and our participants.

What you’ll be doing

•        Goal-driven planning — Work with participants to set meaningful goals and build a real pathway to reach them.

•        Building capability — Teach skills, build confidence, and coach participants to take on more for themselves over time.

•        Employment & life skills — Support participants into work, community access, and everyday independence.

•        Managing your own caseload — Take ownership of relationships, make things happen, and follow through.

•        Contributing to growth — Spot opportunities, help develop our services, and be part of building something bigger.

You’ll be a great fit if you…

✓      Have 2+ years in disability or community services and want to do your best work yet

✓      Know the difference between meeting a support need and actually building someone’s capacity

✓      Can hold someone to their goals with warmth — encouraging without doing the work for them

✓      Understand person-centred practice in your actions, not just on paper

✓      Get energy from watching people grow — and want to be part of what makes that happen

✓      Are available across early starts, weekends, and evenings — our participants’ lives don’t stop at 5pm

✓      Back yourself to make good decisions and take initiative when it counts

✓      Have ideas and the confidence to put them on the table

What’s in it for you

•        Salary packaging: Up to $15,900 (living expenses) + $2,650 (meals/entertainment) — serious take-home benefits on top of your base salary.

•        Career progression: Real opportunities to grow as one of the South West’s fastest-growing NDIS providers.

•        Professional development: Paid induction and ongoing PD that actually moves your career forward.

•        A team that gets it: We celebrate initiative, hold a high standard of care, and back each other.

•        Flexibility: Full-time, part-time, or casual — in Bunbury, Busselton, or both.

Essentials

•        WA Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle

•        Working With Children Check

•        NDIS Worker Screening Check

•        National Police Check

•        Current First Aid Certificate

•        Australian work rights

•        Experience in the employment sector is desirable

•        Cert III in Community Services, Disability, or Individual Support is great — but your experience and your approach will always matter more.
