As a Community Support Worker, you’ll help people stay safe and comfortable at home by: Helping with personal care (showering, dressing, grooming) Providing respite care (giving our clients Carers a break) Helping clients stay active and connected in their community Following care plans to meet each person’s needs Working as a team to provide the best support possible To succeed in this role, our expectations are that you will: Certificate in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, or Community Services - at this moment in time, we're sorry but we can't consider you if you don't have one of these qualifications Have a caring nature – be genuinely passionate about helping people Have excellent communication skills – you'll be to chat, engage and interact with clients and your colleagues Australian working rights A valid Australian driver’s licence and access to a reliable, fully insured car A Police Check and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to get one) First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to get one) We value and support our team.
