JOB REQUIREMENTS & EXPECTATIONS:

For full-time positions you will be required to work alternate weekends as a minimum.
If your experience lies in a different setting a screening might be conducted prior to being selected for an interview.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting service users with a high standard of social and emotional care and recognising and meeting the specific needs of each person
  • Supporting service users with a wide range of differing requirements from companionship to personal care
  • Being part of a team of supporting and monitoring service users and reporting change
  • Communicating with service users families, friends and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain effective communications, both verbal and written, making accurate reports on service users
  • Create a caring and supportive environment in which service users can reach their full potential both physically, mentally and socially
  • Ensure own and, when appropriate, other’s actions reduce risks to health and safety
  • Undertake any other duties as required such as light cleaning, cooking
  • Support service users to go into their local community
