Are you passionate about fostering independence and community engagement?
We’re seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Community Transport Driver. In this casual role, you’ll be responsible for delivering a flexible, reliable, and responsive “door to door” transport service for CRCS participants. Your role will involve close collaboration with our Transport Coordinators, requiring flexibility, empathy, and effective problem-solving skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide transport support for ageing and/or disabled CRCS participants.
• Ensure the delivery of a person-centered, high-quality, and safe community transport service.
• Work collaboratively with the Transport Coordinators and offer physical support based on identified needs.
• Maintain and care for the CRCS fleet vehicle, ensuring cleanliness and proper maintenance.
• Operate within CRCS Transport Safety Management Systems.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE:

• Holds a Current Driver’s license and has demonstrated a safe and responsible driving record.
• Knowledge of CRCS and other service providers within ACT.
• High level knowledge of the community sector.
• Knowledge of the ACT road network.
• Strong understanding of the Australian Road Rules.
• Understanding of Work Health Safety and your safety obligations.
