QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 2 years’ experience in the field
• Experience with dementia
• Driver’s licence and vehicle
• Current Car Insurance & Car Registration
• National police check
• First aid & CPR
• Blue Card

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Experience with dementia
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Proficient in personal care tasks
• Excellent time management abilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

In this role, you will provide person-centred support that empowers elderly clients to live independently and comfortably in their own homes. You’ll play an essential role in enhancing clients’ quality of life through compassionate, respectful, and reliable care.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver personalised care based on unique preferences, routines, and needs of each client
• Support with daily living activities, both in home and in the community
• Meal preparation and basic household duties
• Transportation to medical appointments and social outings
• Companionship and social support
• Foster independence and help clients maintain their lifestyle and wellbeing
