OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial services and demonstrate proficiency in various accounting software. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insightful financial analysis to support decision-making processes.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in financial accounting or a similar role within the financial services sector.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft) is highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
  • Previous experience in mentoring or training staff is an advantage.
  • AAT in accountancy is a minimum requirement
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
