OVERVIEW

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Secretary / Office Administrator to support our UK operations. The ideal candidate should have strong organisational skills, be comfortable handling administrative and financial tasks, and be able to communicate professionally with third parties such as auditors, lawyers, and service providers. This is a part-time position (approx. 20 hours per week)

REQUIREMENTS

  • Good knowledge of UK administrative and office procedures.
  • Basic understanding of payroll and accounting practices.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Organised, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Previous experience in office administration, secretary roles, or basic accounting is an advantage.

Responsibilities
  • Account Keeping: Maintain accurate records of company transactions and files.
  • Payroll Administration: Organise and manage own payroll in compliance with HMRC requirements.
  • Bank Account Management: Assist with opening and maintaining company bank accounts.
  • Appointments: Attend local appointments when necessary (rare).
  • Postage & Communication: Handle mail, phone calls, and email correspondence on behalf of the company.
  • Human Resources: Support HR-related documentation and processes.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Communicate with HMRC and Companies House for filings and submissions.
  • Liaison with External Partners: Coordinate with auditors, lawyers, registered agents, and other service providers.
