We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Company Painter to join our Facilities & Maintenance team. Gibbons Whistler is searching for a skilled Painter & Maintenance Technician to help keep our hotels, restaurants, bars, and event spaces looking incredible. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working independently and as part of a team, and wants to contribute to creating spaces that wow both guests and staff. From detailed touch-ups to large-scale painting projects, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the look and feel of some of Whistler’s most iconic venues.   What you bring to the table: * Professional painting experience (commercial, residential, or hospitality) * Strong drywall repair skills * Experience with stains, varnishes, and specialty finishes (asset) * Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks * Comfort working across various job sites * Solid knowledge of paints, primers, and surface prep * Valid driver’s license (asset)   What your day will look like * Perform routine painting, patching, and finishing in multiple venues * Complete drywall repairs (patching, mudding, taping, sanding) * Apply stain and clear-coat finishes to wood surfaces * Prepare surfaces through cleaning, sanding, priming, and masking * Maintain paint inventory and equipment * Work with the maintenance team to prioritize tasks and projects * Ensure all finishes meet hospitality-grade standards * Work safely and professionally in active, high-traffic environments Ready to Join One of Whistler’s Most Iconic Hospitality Teams?
