Overview:
Works under the direct supervision of a Shift Supervisor/Lieutenant of NHRMC Company Police or designated representative. Enforces NC General Statues and complies with existing policies, procedures, laws, regulations and directives. Performs activities that deter crime and security related incidents to ensure the safety and security of patients, visitors, employees, Medical Staff, and NHRMC property. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Education: High School / GED, required. Associate degree, preferred.
Experience: Recent (same year) Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) graduate or possesses a current probationary or general certification, required. Minimum of one year in a law enforcement/security capacity or healthcare related environment, preferred. An applicant within 90 days of graduating from a qualified BLET course may be hired to this position at the discretion of the Chief of Police, Novant Health Company Police.
