Responsibilities

Are you well organized and ready to work closely with the Supervisory Board of UBS Europe SE? Are you passionate about European regulatory and governance topics? We are looking for a Company Secretary for UBS Europe SE (UBS ESE) who:

  • manages the meetings of the UBS ESE Supervisory Board and its committees including agenda setting, preparing resolutions, writing minutes and following up on actions
  • acts as an trusted advisor for the Chair of the UBS ESE Supervisory Board and the Committee Chairs and ensures adherence to governance standards and applicable laws and regulations;
  • performs assessments of the initial and ongoing suitability of UBS ESE Management Board and Supervisory Board members including the orchestration of the regulatory required processes (Fit & Proper);
  • monitors and analyzes regulatory developments and newly applicable Laws and Regulations for the identification of impacts on UBS ESE governance and supports implementing changes as required;
  • maintains corporate records and keeps UBS ESE governance documents up-to-date;
  • prepares Senior Management briefings for internal and external (regulatory) meetings and provides governance input to strategic UBS projects;
  • communicates effectively with board members, senior management and internal & external stakeholders including auditors and regulators; and
  • develops and maintains relationships with different UBS ESE and UBS Group stakeholders, in particular with UBS ESE Business and Function Heads as well as UBS ESE Branch Representatives.
