THE JOB

As part of a strategic People & Culture optimization initiative, the Compensation Analyst will lead and support efforts to develop and implement a comprehensive job architecture and cataloging framework. This includes job descriptions, aligning roles within a consistent structure, and configuring job-related data within the Dayforce HRIS. The position also supports the ongoing management and enhancement of job description processes across multiple platforms and contributes to system optimization efforts.

Responsibilities
  • Keep Christ central in individual and corporate life. Actively participate in and contribute to the spiritual disciplines of the organization (Christian conduct, chapel, prayer, worship, devotions, and leadership of devotions); incorporate WV Core Values into decisions within scope of role.
  • Model existing positions into a drafted Job Architecture, including job families, levels, titling conventions, and career paths for leadership review.
  • Conduct job reviews and collaborate with HR Business Partners and managers to write and revise job descriptions for new hires and job revaluations.
  • Enter and configure high volume job data and performance data into HRIS Dayforce, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with system requirements. Ensure compliance with compensation policies, legal requirements, and audit standards.
  • Support testing, validation, and troubleshooting of job-related data during the Dayforce optimization phase.
  • Maintain the current job description management process across multiple platforms, including Dayforce HRIS, Excel workbooks, Employee facing shared file drive (The Vine), Recruiting system
  • Research and recommend enhancements to job description management processes, including historical tracking solutions.
  • Contribute to project planning, status reporting, and change management efforts related to job architecture and HRIS configuration.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned in support of Total Rewards and People & Culture initiatives.
