Overview As a Compensation Analyst at Joby, you will play a vital role in attracting and retaining top talent by ensuring that our compensation offers are competitive, fair, and aligned with our organization's compensation philosophy. You will work closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and the People Team to conduct comprehensive compensation reviews for job offers and ensure that our compensation packages are attractive to candidates. This position is based out of Joby’s Santa Cruz, CA office. Onsite presence 2-3 days per week is required. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive compensation reviews for all job offers using market data, internal equity considerations, and candidate qualifications Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand position requirements and provide informed guidance on compensation packages Maintain and update the compensation offers database to ensure data accuracy and reliability Provide pay band information for new job postings Contribute to compensation team projects and initiatives as needed Required Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field 2+ years of experience in compensation analysis or related HR function Demonstrated ability to analyze compensation data and apply findings to decision-making Proficiency with Excel and Google Sheets Strong attention to detail when handling sensitive compensation information Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive employee and organizational data Ability to work onsite 2-3 days per week Additional Information Compensation at Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The target base pay for this position is $76,500 - $139,600/yr. The compensation package will be determined by job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
