Duration: 3 Months
Start Date: ASAP

OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a Compensation Analyst for a high-impact temporary assignment. This is a fully onsite role based in San Jose, CA. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, fast-moving, and ready to jump in immediately to support compensation operations. This is a pure compensation role — not HR generalist — ideal for someone with a background as a Comp Analyst, Comp Manager, or Compensation Specialist (not at the Director or Sr. Consultant level).

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3–5+ years of direct compensation experience in a U.S. public company
  • Strong Excel skills and a passion for data-driven decisions
  • Strong understanding of compensation principles, job evaluations, market pricing, and incentive plans
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills in fast-paced environments
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments
  • Comfortable operating independently and navigating ambiguity

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field
  • Compensation certification or advanced degree a plus
  • Global compensation experience
  • Background in manufacturing, aviation, or international organizations is preferred

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR (SOFT SKILLS):

  • Team-oriented with a “can-do” attitude
  • Quantitative and detail-driven
  • Fast, proactive, and able to manage high volume
  • Positive energy and clear communication
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet tight deadlines
Pay Details: $50.00 to $55.00 per hour
    Search managed by: Brandie Bowen
