This role is an integral part of our Human Resources and Total Compensation team, being involved in strategic compensation and benefits programs for FNHA.
Title: Compensation and Benefits Analyst
Salary: $64,972 - $81,215 - $89,337 per year (pay range explained below)
Contract: Term – March 31, 2026
Hours: Full-time – 37.5 hours (Mon-Fri core hours 9am-3pm)
Location: Park Royal – on the traditional and unceded territories of the Coast Salish Territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations - Hybrid (Hybrid working is an option in line with FNHA’s flex work policy). Please note, this role will be relocating to our new office building in North Vancouver on Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) land, south of Mount Seymour Parkway in Spring 2027.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources and achievement of a CCP, CBP or CEBS designation preferred or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience

EXPERIENCE

  • 3-5 years of hands-on compensation experience performing compensation & benefits analytics, hourly/salaried merit administration in a union and non-union environment plus 2-3 years of progressively responsible experience in analyzing benefit and pension programs, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

EXPERIENCE

  • Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent analytical skills to conduct program assessment, market data analysis, job evaluation, and program-related trend analysis and statistics
  • Knowledge and experience with PeopleSoft an asset
  • Experience with HRIS, data manipulation and report writing tools
Responsibilities

As Compensation & Benefits Analyst, you will provide statistical analysis in reviewing, developing, implementing and delivering compensation and benefits programs. You will conduct internal surveys and participate in external surveys on compensation and benefits and assist with analysis and recommendations. And you will collaborate to provide support to the HR Advisory Services team with position description documentation, and job evaluations for new and updated positions. As well as you will prepare compliance reports for pension and benefit plans in collaboration with Payroll.
