COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS OFFICER

Location: Chichester (Hybrid – 3 days from home)
Salary: £35k to £40k DOE
We are delighted to be working with a well-established local company seeking an experienced Compensation and Benefits Officer to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven UK payroll experience, preferably in-house and standalone payroll.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, and benefit administration.
  • Proficiency in IT systems and payroll software.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
  • Educated to A-level standard; CIPP qualifications are desirable.

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Chichester PO19 1D

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and manage the operation of outsourced payroll, pensions, and benefits.
  • Prepare training, benefits budgets, and salary benchmarking, including annual pay reviews.
  • Maintain HR and payroll systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
  • Handle all payroll-related tasks, including RTIs, P60s, P11Ds, PSA, and liaising with HMRC.
  • Manage benefit administration and provide expertise in payroll software.
