REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources (HR), business, or related field.
  • Note: Human Resources may accept two (2) years of related professional work experience in lieu of the required education.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • HR experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft (MS) Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to perform job responsibilities using formulas, pivot tables, and v-lookup.
  • Willingness to attend MS Office classes on- or off-site to enhance MS Office skill level.
  • High attention to detail and data integrity.
  • Knowledge of a human resources information systems (HRIS).
  • Ability to learn new systems and tasks.
  • Ability to administer and interpret TMH policies, procedures, and operations accurately and effectively.
  • Ability to prioritize work. Ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (to communicate and interact professionally and effectively (both orally and in writing) with management, co-workers, colleagues, and external sources).
  • Demonstrated time management skills.
  • Willingness to be flexible.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Knowledge of compensation practices. Healthcare experience.
  • General understanding of HR management principles and practices; and federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  • Exposure to organization’s current HRIS system or a similar HRIS system.
Responsibilities
  • Performs a variety of support tasks within Compensation and Benefits Administration.
  • Interacts directly, via telephone, or email with colleagues to provide information on the compensation, retirement, and benefit programs offered by Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare, Inc. (TMH).
